Pieces v1.03 – Combine or divide complexly structured files

Pieces helps you manage your files by letting you divide large files into multiple smaller ones. Conversely, it can also consolidate disparate component files into a single file, making it your one-stop solution for dealing with complexly structured files. You may have downloaded files from the Internet ending in .001, .002 (*) etc and not known what to do with them.

Chances are you need to join them together to make one large file – this is where MacAppStuff’s Pieces comes in! 

You can also split large files of any type (including documents, pictures, movie files, music files etc) into a set of smaller pieces for easier distribution (e.g. via email, Internet or multiple CD/DVD disks). 

The pieces can then be joined back together to make the original file. If you’re sending the pieces to someone else, they will need MacAppStuff’s Pieces to join them, so send them the application or tell them where to download it!
